~ The stunning 7th floor rooftop restaurant ~
We had a lovely stay there and were given a suite on the top floor with the
most fantastic view over Montmartre Cemetery to the Eiffel Tower. We could lie in bed and
see the roof top view of Paris and the Tower.
Many thanks for suggesting it, worth every penny for a special stay.

Montmartre
Montmartre is historically known as the artistic heart of Paris, where cobbled streets and vibrant squares are home to a fascinating collection of restaurants, bars & shops, and where you can get the finest panoramic views of Paris from the sublime Sacré-Coeur. Place du Tertre, situated just west of the Sacré-Coeur, is famous for its artists who create while-you-wait portraits of tourists, and is a busy, lively square with numerous cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy an alfresco meal and indulge in a favourite Parisian hobby - people-watching! The Terrass Hotel Paris is conveniently situated to take advantage of all these delights.
Other areas with the typical Montmartre neighbourhood atmosphere include Rue Lepic (which boasts the fabulous Patisserie "Les Petits Mitrons", the Café des Deux Moulins made famous in the film Amelie, and a wonderful Sunday morning market) and Rue / Place des Abbesses. Other notable attractions in Montmartre include Le Moulin Rouge and Cabaret Chez Michou, the Espace Dali Museum, Place Clichy and Place Pigalle. The Montmartre Cemetery is also a welcome escape from the bustle of Paris, and well worth an hour wandering amongst the many stunning sculptures and tombs, which are the final resting places of many famous artists including Nijinsky, Edgar Degas, Alexander Dumas and Francois Truffaut. See how Terrass Hotel Paris is located near these attractions on our interactive map.
