Tourism Victoria's Miracle Award
With a standing ovation, Sooke Harbour House hotel received Victoria's annual Miracle Award "in recognition of their outstanding contribution to Greater Victoria's Tourism Industry" on Thursday, March 14th in the Crystal Ball Room at the Empress Hotel. In attendance were the mayors of Victoria, and several surrounding municipalities as well as leading representatives of the tourist industry from Southern Vancouver Island.
On Tuesday of the same week, the Sooke Harbour House was awarded this year's Santas' Anonymous Culinary Arts Award from the British Columbia and Food Services Association for the promotion of their Phantom Dinner Programme.
