Your adventure begins the moment your private driver picks you up from either Ciampino or Fiumicino Airport in Rome or at the Central Train Station.

I will personally greet you upon your arrival at the elegant Duke hotel, located in the exclusive Parioli residential district. The Duke is truly a luxury hotel and owned privately by the Visocchi family. The warmth you will feel as a guest is a gift of Italian hospitality.

Lunch is Served

Once you have had time to freshen up in a room that features linen bedding and marble bathrooms, please join me for afternoon tea or a cocktail in the "Polo Lounge". Here we can enjoy comfortable sofas and soft music.

On the evening of the group's arrival you are invited, along with your fellow "Let's Go Cook Italian" travelers, to enjoy dinner in the "I Duchi" restaurant, located within our hotel, and one of Rome's finest.

On day two, and after a sumptuous breakfast, we will begin class with Maestro Chef Luca. Our four unique 2 hour classes are offered on days two thru five and begin at 11 A.M.

In addition to the culinary perfume of the kitchen, you will drink in the laughter and comradery of cooking Italian. The kitchen is the heart of the Italian home and the heart of the "Let's Go Cooking Italian" experience.

Your classes will feature instruction on Roman and Mediterranean cuisine including pasta's, sauces, entrée's with accompanying side dishes and classic "Dolce" (Desserts).

Chef Luca will share all of his recipes with us upon our graduation. All classes are "hand's on" under the guidance of Chef Luca and his superb culinary staff. For this reason we allow a maximum of 8 students in class.

At the completion of each class we will shed our apron's and be seated in the dining room of "I Duchi", where our own creations will be served to us for a 3 course lunch paired with wines selected to compliment each course.

(Should you have a traveling companion who is not participating in classes,
arrangements can be made to have them join us at a pre-fix rate).

Sweet Endings

Following lunch each day you are free to discover the magic of Ancient Rome. As a traveler, I choose to enjoy the freedom of sightseeing, shopping and dining at my leisure ..... the luxury to choose what will make my experience memorable.

With this in mind, I feel each of my guests should enjoy what fulfills their dream of their days and nights in Rome. Along with the attentive staff of the Duke, I will be personally assisting you with the organization of, and advance reservations for, the activities you choose.

The choices in Rome are endless and always yours.

The "Eternal City" has more museums, monuments, basilicas and historic Palazzi than the average visitor has time to experience...

"Roma, non basta una vita"

Our hosts offer us an hourly complimentary round trip shuttle direct from the front of the hotel to a location very near to the top of the famous "Spanish Steps".

From there you are a short walk from your dreams
of a "Roman Holiday" and "La Dolce Vita"!
(Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Galleria Borghese, Colosseo e arco di
Costantino await you, as does Vatican City and Basilica di S.Pietro).
Unique private tours are available upon request and are priced separately, including the
opportunity of an after hours exclusive visit of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel or an
excursion to the designer outlet's at Castel Romano...

Day 6 of our stay allows you a full day to enjoy as you desire, including "dolce far niente" (sweet doing nothing). On this final night I invite you to join me for an "Arrivederci Roma" dinner for one last festive evening together.

On the day of your departure your private driver will once again be available to take you from the Duke to your airport or the Central Train Station in Rome.
